For those of you who are praying and thinking of us at this difficult time thankyou.

I had a meeting this afternoon about provision of a right placement for our young lady with her mental health difficulties. TBH, I thought it was going to be a real battle but I am pleased that no one seems to disagree with the level of disturbed behaviour or that she needs a specialist placement.

No. it is not where anyone ever wants to be with their child, and I am hating having us living in different places. but we have no choice now.

Pleased to say that this lady, is a snr post adoption social worker and I feel she really does understand and respect us. She is going to advocate for us not against us in the big meetings we have to get through next wk.

I was able to explain that after the drug reactions etc that I am heading for a palliative care admission but I am not going to be pushing for anything to do with admission etc while things are so up in the air with things at home but that my health cannot be ignored for long.

So finally, 3 areas of prayer please.

1) That all current family arrangements hold.

2) That the Psychiatrist says what we need her to say (ie admission for assessment at least) on the 8th

3) That the mother of all meetings with 20 people coming (not joking) concludes a firm way forward which meets this very special young ladies particular needs.

thankyou for your ongoing care and support

Jenni xx

Jenni, sounds like things are at least moving forward for you. Prayers will go ahead from us all, be sure of that. You are a wonderful family, and you especially Jenni are an amazing lady, with all your own health problems too. Thinking and praying for you xThumpUp

Hi Jenni - have been thinking of you and hope all goes to current plan for you all. I know it's difficult for you being apart but she has you there to love her and help her through this difficult time by getting what's best for her. Hope you are all ok.

Jenni

Praying for you all. At least, at the moment, things seem to be moving in the right direction but this must be a terrible time for you, life just seems so unfair sometimes.
